Affiliation Email and Affiliation Address on Google Scholar

Dear respected academics, researchers, and higher education students

In accordance with the official university regulations, we would like to inform you that both the institutional affiliation email and institutional affiliation address on Google Scholar are mandatory.

Accordingly, the following regulations will apply:

1. For Hawler Medical University (HMU) academics and higher education students:
   The use of both the HMU affiliation email and HMU affiliation address on Google Scholar is required for all submissions to the Erbil Dental Journal (EDJ), as well as for CPD and academic promotion purposes.
2. For non-HMU researchers who are enrolled in higher education programs at HMU:
   The same regulations apply. Eligible individuals may request an official institutional email through the IT Department of the respective college.
3. For non-HMU researchers with no academic or institutional affiliation with HMU:
   Authors must use their own institutional affiliation email associated with their home institution. The use of personal email accounts (such as Yahoo, Gmail, or similar services) is not acceptable for academic and publication purposes.
